Hello Everyone,

Please see the attached registration form for the inaugural "Great Outdoors Youth Workshop" to be held in Thunder Bay, Ontario on September 10th and 11th.  The “Great Outdoors Youth Workshop” is an initiative led by the Thunder Bay District Stewardship Council and the Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen's Alliance to encourage youth participation in fishing and hunting activities.  A maximum of 40 participants, aged 12-15 will receive instruction and practical demonstrations from volunteers on topics such as:

•       Fish & Wildlife I.D. and Conservation

•       Tree Stand Safety

•       Big Game Hunting Strategies

•       Waterfowl and Upland Hunting Strategies

•       Fishing Tips for Kids

•       Catch and Release Methods

•       Meet a Conservation Officer

In addition to this great agenda, participants will enjoy a ‘fish & game’ lunch on each day of the event so they can experience the delicious satisfaction of a fish fry or wild game barbeque.

Numerous other community partners are coming on board to support this great event.  Please stay tuned for upcoming announcements related to the "Great Outdoors Youth Workshop". The deadline to enter is March 30, 2011.
