Director at Large - Jack Mack
NOSA Director at Large, Jack is going strong at the ripe young age of 78! Raised in Thunder Bay, he has travelled extensively, hunting and fishing all over Canada and even Alaska, taking on everything from moose to grizzlies.
Jack is an active member of the Westfort Fish and Game Club and spends considerable time hunting and fishing in the LDML area.
Jack says of NOSA, "We've needed an organization like this to stand up and fight for our northern hunting and fishing rights and to leave a lasting legacy of our heritage for future generations."
He is concerned with the diminished level of commitment to wildlife management by governments and he sees that society does not recognize the conservation value contributed by having hunters and anglers paying for wildlife management programs through our license dollars.
Jack is not afraid to point out that we ALL have a role in the wise use of our fish and wildlife. He states, "Resident sport hunters/anglers and First Nations subsistence hunters/anglers need to join their conservation efforts and goals toward sustaining the quality of our wildlife resources."
NOSA is proud to have Jack Mack continue to serve as one of our Directors at Large.
